It is not the government’s job to put aside money for any individual or groups of individuals for retirement or healthcare. The government is not meant to be a financial institution for the general public. It is up to every individual to decide what is right for them and they should not be penalized for not subscribing to any set of beliefs on how to invest their money. This is something that should be phased out over time, in order to be respectful to those who have paid into the pre-existing unsustainable system and are depending on it for their survival.
